  • FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, they are including an LGBTQ-specific community meeting to get input from LGBTQ people—if we don’t make sure LGBTQ issues and/or people are mentioned specifically, we will probably be left out

  • The LGBTQ community meeting will be held Thursday, October 4 from 5:00 – 6:30 at New Tech High in Napa

  • If you cannot attend the LGBTQ meeting, you should take the survey (link below) or attend a different issue-focused or county district meeting

If you haven’t heard, Napa County is embarking on an update of its Strategic Plan that will guide the direction of the County’s funding, decisions & planning for the next three years. One step in the development of this plan is community outreach.  As part of the County’s outreach strategy, they are hosting a series of stakeholder meetings to discuss community priorities, including—FOR THE FIRST TIME—an LGBTQ community meeting! You are invited to participate in this targeted workshop to discuss priorities for the LGBTQ community.

IF WE DON’T MENTION LGBTQ PEOPLE OR ISSUES SPECIFICALLY, THEY WILL LIKELY BE LEFT OUT OF NAPA COUNTY’S PLANNING & GOALS

This important LGBTQ community meeting will be held on Thursday, October 4 from 5:00 – 6:30 at New Tech High, 920 Yount St, Napa. If you are unable to attend this LGBTQ-specific focus group, there is also be a series of other issue-focused and County district meetings open to the public. The full schedule can be found on the County’s Strategic Planning Events Page.

Finally, there is an Online Survey in hopes that you will take a few moments to give us your feedback on future priorities for the County of Napa.
